High speed 3D digitising
The LC50 is a industrial laser scanner that is widely recognized as the benchmark CMM scanner. This all-purpose and high-speed laser scanner accurately captures 19200 real1 points every second. The LC50 scanner probe fits a Renishaw PH10M motorized indexing head, transforming the 3 axis mechanical CMM into an accurate 5 axis optical digitizing device.
Key features
- High speed scanning up to 19200 real1 pts/s
- Seamless integration with Renishaw PH10M(Q) through lightweight design and use of Renishaw multiwire
- Adjustable camera and laser intensity settings guarantee top data quality for different surfaces & environments
- Automated qualification of the PH10 orientations
- Compatibility with ACR-1 & ACR-3 auto-exchange rack for easy tool exchange
- Easy macro based path programming
- Available for integration in native CMM software applications
Key benefits
- Shorter lead times and higher quality
- 3D full part scanning optimizes and simplifies inspection and reverse engineering processes
- Non-contact measurement for flexible or fragile parts
- Automatic scanning for repetitive measurement cycles
Applications
Inspection / Reverse engineering of:
- Sheet metal parts (doors, panels, full car body)
- Castings (engines, gear boxes)
- Turbine blades
- Injection molds (dashboards, mobile phones)
- Foams (seating)
- Glass (windshields)
