In the past, if your application required accurate measurements of large parts or installations, the laser tracker was practically the only instrument available. With the emergence of iGPS, the exclusive reign of the laser tracker as the large-scale metrology tool-of-choice is coming to an end.
Size matters

Offsets from the line often degrade accuracy and make line-of-sight extremely difficult to maintain.
